Nomura Research Institute, Ltd. has established the following response to cope with rolling blackouts expected to take place intermittently over the interim in order to continue to deliver the same service standard as before for systems services we provide.
- As our ongoing countermeasure against power outages, we are able to operate independent back-up power generators that have at least 48 hours worth of fuel. In addition, we have concluded a priority supply agreement with our fuel providers, positioning us to procure fuel on a continuous basis.
- It is our ongoing commitment to ensure that our data centers continue to operate without interruption. This commitment remains the same during this period of rolling blackouts.
