Under the concept of Navigation×Solution, NRI has been able to grow with its clients and society, providing assistance in business operations and development of social mechanisms.

The leading example is NRI's support to Seven & i Holdings. Since the 1970s when NRI was first commissioned to develop and manage IT systems for Seven-Eleven Japan and other members of the corporate group at that time, it has provided assistance to the group in a wide range of business operations until the transformation and growth of Seven & i Holdings as it is today.

Forecasting the future for the distribution and finance industry

NRI conducts research into distribution, finance and other industrial sectors, consumer trend surveys and forecasts and publishes its findings widely in society. Information related to distribution, finance and electronic money has been utilized in store management at Seven & I Holdings, its e-money "nanaco," point service system, and supporting of Seven Bank systems.

NRI solutions have contributed to Seven Bank's ATM service and its mechanisms that have been designed exhaustively for user convenience. Its ATMs installed across Japan operate on a 24/7 basis and accepts bank cards issued by a large number of financial institutions in Japan and other countries. With the development of this network, NRI supports safety and reliability of the bank's ATM services.
