NRI has offices in Asia, North America and Europe. In coordination with these offices, NRI offers services including research, consulting and IT solutions to business corporations operating on a global scale.
Its office in Silicon Valley is engaged in advanced IT research. The offices in New York and London conduct research into the latest financial trends. The findings are being utilized in developing proposals for business strategies and IT solutions for its clients.
NRI branches in Seoul, Taipei, Manila and Moscow, and NRI Shanghai offer research and consulting services. They offer consulting services in developing business and sales strategies in local markets, support with organization, human resource management, help in implementing M&A strategies and issue policy recommendations for government and international institutions as well.
NRI affiliated companies in Beijing, Hong Kong and Singapore provide systems development and management, BPO (business process outsourcing) and other services.

- NRI's Business in Asia: Creating a second NRI
- NRI delivers consulting services and IT solutions that include systems development /management, ERP and BPO to Japanese businesses operating in other Asian countries, local government organizations and leading local companies.
In 2008, NRI started up iVision Shanghai in cooperation with Mitsubishi Corporation for systems integration businesses chiefly in Shanghai. Growth of these businesses will be promoted aggressively to establish a second NRI in the China/Asia region in 2015.
